Alan has been fishing for many years, starting out at the age of 4 using the more conventional methods such as bait and lure. He has extensive knowledge with both, and many species can be targeted with these methods. He started fly fishing at the age of 14, and this has become somewhat of a passion. R.E.F.F.I.S. accredited, he teaches novices to fly fish, or could add value to more experienced fly fishers with his wealth of knowledge.
